PRESENTED BY TINA EDWARDS

I first heard Jim playing this song a long time ago, before we were in a band together, it’s just a classic sounding tune, we recorded it a few times in the studio, I love the way it is fast and then goes to halftime but still flows so well… Definitely a favourite.

This is what Jim wrote when I asked him to tell me what the song was about…

It explores the idea of feeling vulnerable and tender after a separation and only really escaping those feelings when asleep and safe in your own bed.
It also plays with the notion that sometimes we can convince ourselves that spending one more night with that person is acceptable or easy when truly it only makes things more difficult to deal with.
When it came to making the album we played it as a band and that’s when the arrangement came about. I was really pleased to see mine and Keo’s song take shape into a fully fledged record.
