Nana Kofi Osei born in 1983, at Tema, Ghana. His interest in rap started early (15years old) in fact during senior high school he was a member of a rap group: Brick City. He moved to Italy in 2007 and together with Beesy formed a group named Blak Cedi creating harmony between rap and traditional Ghanaian Rhythm (hip life). The group made it's self known to the italian public partecipating in various events rap and Afro in North Italy and in 2011 they promoted a video clip of the song Money produced by DC Records, Trento. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw40JeSWaXg

In 2012 he joins a multinational collective: Boom Foundation (Italy, Ghana, Cile, England and Jamaica) produced by Kundalini Recordings and in the same year comes out their first E.P : Linguaggi Paralleli. From 2013 Nana teams up with Mike T. as a vocalist in the Irie Bash Crew

From 2016 created Ab3 p3 show (Abe pe show- the Palm tree likes entertainment), an independent production kit, with the aim of promoting African values ,research into the misguided identity of Africa. collaborating with artistes of African decent looking at finding a dialogue between rap, traditional music and dancehall.

Actually he is working on the promotion of his latest project Welcome to Europe an open dialogue on the hospitality in Europe and migration collecting histories. Nana Motobi, è attivo da 10 anni nel panorama del rap italiano collaborando con vari artisti ed etichette come Big House, Kundalini records con il nuovo ep. Welcome to Europe, 2018 si affaccia nella scena rap come rapper e produttore indipendente (Ab3 p3 show production).

Nana Kofi Osei nasce nel 1983, nella città di Tema, Ghana. Il suo interesse per il rap comincia presto, a 15 anni Nel 2018 Nana è uno dei dieci finalisti del concorso Strike, Storie di giovani che cambiano le cose. Attualmente sta lavorando alla promozione del nuovo progetto musicale Welcome to Europe! uscito ad agosto 2018.

Un viaggio tra ritmo e parole, nell'ospitalità Made in Europe. Un suono profondo, con timbro afro, una mescolanza di stili che ci porta in un viaggio tra passato e futuro delle sonorità del reggae, hip hop, dance hall, afrotrap e hi-life. Un esperimento esplosivo come il tema affrontato quello della migrazione, una lettura rovesciata che porta la voce di chi ha vissuto in prima persona il viaggio verso nord...

Il progetto è stato presentato in Olanda (Worldhouse, Amsterdam Festival Vocie4Thought, Leiden) in Italia (Bologna: Festival dell’Antropologia, L’altro Spazio; Trento: Sambapolis, Muse, D’estate il parco Travellers voice e Bookique, Libera Università di Bolzano).
Nana Motobi, guida come formatore musicale progetti e laboratori rivolti a a ragazzi/e bambini con l’obiettivo di promuovere l’inclusione sociale e l’interculturalità attraverso la musica rap.
