South Florida country music sensation Jess Taylor is building her resume fast. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter has already opened for country music legend John Anderson, The Spin Doctors and played at the Brad Paisley concert for the cast party of the show "Nashville," the television series that airs on ABC.
Says Jess: "Writing is one of the many gifts that I believe God has given me. I have been writing songs ever since I could pick up a pen and scribble words on paper. Although, I was raised in sunny South Florida, I have always been a country girl at heart. I have an absolute passion for country music. I'm either blasting it on the car radio, or strumming on my guitar writing new songs."
Busy paying numerous venues in Florida and Tennessee, Jess also manages to find time for charity. "I am currently part of a group called Tunes-for-Tots, which raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation," she says.
Although Jess performed this segment for Balcony TV Miami while living in South Florida, she has been planning to make a new home in Nashville with an aim to push her career into overdrive. "I just love Nashville," she says. "I got to sing at the world-famous Bluebird Café there, which was such an honor because so many amazing famous and talented artists have performed on the very stage I played on. Singing is my passion and I will be doing it for the rest of my life. Although God and my family are the most important of all, there is nothing I'd rather be doing than singing."
Jess Taylor is certainly a lady to watch. In the meantime, you can download her music from the iTunes site below.
