Aimé is the youngest representative of the musical tradition linked to the surname Cantilo. She was inclined to music from very little, influenced by an intensely artistic family life (she is the daughter of Maria Jose and niece of Miguel Cantilo). Her songs cover rhythms ranging from funk-soul to bossa, with a crisp and fresh sound.
She studied with accomplished guitarists like Ryan Anderson (ex Willy Crook) and Martín Reynoso (Vicentico), although her main influence was her brother Gaspar Benegas (guitarist of Indio Solari and Las Manos de Filippi).
She was part of Willy Crook's band (2013-2015) and played with Deborah Dixon, "Negro" García López, Kubero Díaz, Ana and Gaspar Benegas, Miguel Tallarita, JM Valentino, Timothy Cid, Patán Vidal, Valentina Cooke and The Nenas.
Her solo project started in 2013. In the same year she released her first EP, "Pulso". She is currently playing and pre-producing her second album.
Her band consists of Ariel Bianco on bass, Bruno Arguen on drums, Pol González on guitar, Pablo Vostrouski on keyboards and herself in voice and guitar.
