PRESENTED BY TIM WRIGHT

From deep within the scrub of ancient Bullwai country, Kuranda, Far North Queensland, emerges the new sound of Australian Music. Infusing high energy Hip-Hop Reggae, with rocking rifts and funky rhymes.

Founded in 2005, The Zennith family has gone through many changes over the past few years, since the original Drummer and Bass player decided to have a break from the music industry. It was a challenging task to find the right replacements to fill their spots, while still keeping the unique sound of Zennith alive. This was truly achieved when the Zennith boys went back to their roots, recruiting family and childhood friends, who had performed with them in the past in previous bands.

Willie Brim created the successful Rock n Roll Reggae band Mantaka in the 80s, and has been performing since then. After his own success with Mantaka, Willie spent years putting his energy into teaching his sons music, and helping them grow into the performers they are today. From booking Zennith’s first gigs, to driving the boys as teens up and down the east coast on tour, Willie helped Zennith create the name and the following it has today.

Telling their culture through music, Zennith are set to spread their messages of empathy and understanding to the world. Last year at Woodford Folk Festival, Zennith rocked a staggering six shows in six days, accumulating a large following over the week, and are eager to return again this year.
