WIOL es un grupo valenciano de rock independiente que debutó en Abril del 2013 en la misma capital del Túria. Su música se ha podido escuchar al lado artistas nacionales e internacionales como Kakkmaddafakka, Polock, Belop o Sexy Zebras, junto con grupos valencianos como We Used to Pray, Siberia, Rubick o Skimoes, entre otros. Ostentan el primer puesto como mejor banda en el concusro DipCas otorgado por la diputación de Castellón en junio de 2016; y son semifinalistas del Sona la Dipu 2015 y del concurso Budweiser Emerge 2015 para participar en el Low Festival.

Su primer EP consta de 3 canciones y data de enero de 2015, contando con la producción de Pau Paredes (Modelo de Respuesta Polar, Kostrok, STTL, etc). Gracias a la salida de su primer trabajo aparecen en medios locales y nacionales como Mondo Sonoro, La Gramola de Keith o The Water Tapes, logrando abrirse hueco en la escena local y realizando incursiones puntuales a Madrid. Su segundo trabajo lo podremos escuchar próximamente, consistiendo en dos singles producidos por Fernando Boix (productor de Polock, y director de Millenia Estudios) y Papu Sebastián (Polock). Vendrán acompañados ambos de dos videoclips, cuya fecha de salida estimada se sitúa antes del otoño de 2017.

Con la voz (y el bajo) de Víctor Silva al frente, David González y Toni Carrillo sacan el sonido de Wiol desde las guitarras, acompañados de Eric Barrachina desde la batería. Sus influencias se nutren de grupos internacionales como Foals, Phoenix, Coldplay, The Strokes o Foo Fighters, combinando así líneas vocales melódicas con un transfondo rítmico.

WIOL is a Valencian independent rock group that debuted in April 2013 in the same capital of Túria. Their music has been able to listen to national and international artists such as Kakkmaddafakka, Polock, Belop or Sexy Zebras, along with Valencian groups like We Used to Pray, Siberia, Rubick or Skimoes, among others.

They hold the first place as best band in the DipCas award granted by the deputation of Castellón in June 2016; And are semi-finalists of Sona la Dipu 2015 and the Budweiser Emerge 2015 contest to participate in the Low Festival.

Their first EP consists of 3 songs and dates from January 2015, counting with the production of Pau Paredes (Polar Response Model, Kostrok, STTL, etc.)

Thanks to the departure of his first work appear in local and national media like Mondo Sonoro, La Gramola de Keith or The Water Tapes, managing to open a hollow in the local scene and making specific incursions to Madrid.

Their second work will be heard soon, consisting of two singles produced by Fernando Boix (Polock producer, and director of Millenia Studios) and Papu Sebastián (Polock). They will be accompanied by two video clips, whose estimated departure date is before the autumn of 2017.

With the voice (and bass) of Víctor Silva to the front, David González and Toni Carrillo take the sound of Wiol from the guitars, accompanied by Eric Barrachina from the battery.
Their influences are nourished by international groups like Foals, Phoenix, Coldplay, The Strokes or Foo Fighters, thus combining melodic vocal lines with a rhythmic background.
