PRESENTED BY TINA EDWARDS

This song was channeled in a rocking chair… (I think it’s the only song I have written in a rocking chair)… it worked very well when finding the tempo … it seemed to be already there, like a heartbeat.

I was thinking “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” at the time. Then I realized how many times we have got it wrong… Be it a genius or a serial killer… it is near enough impossible to know someone/something before really digging deep and going through years.

As life goes on you realize that things, more often than not, are not as they seem on the outside… I have always been interested in the truth.
This song simply highlights that, but it’s not a “gossip” song, it’s a desire to know the truth. It’s about telling the truth.

I don’t know much beyond my imagination about “if” or “how” the world is conditioned … but this song is about using ones common sense to at least appreciate the fact that there are people who know more than us… and possibly those people are more in control than we think “behind the scenes” of our daily actions… the words we use, the clothes we wear, the TV we watch… etc…
When you appreciate how much the mind is capable of it is hard to completely rule any of these possibilities out!

I guess some things are just on a need to know basis… but then also if we all knew the divine truth we would be in a rather good place, together… I am guessing…
“hush little civilization please, daddy’s gonna give you something you don’t need”
