PRESENTED BY RACHEL

The Stained Daisies arrived on the music scene mid 2013, cutting their teeth in the backrooms of the legendary pubs and clubs across the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. They immersed themselves in it the old way. The beer drenched carpets of venues as their stage. The working class as their people.

Now, with a rock’n roll swagger, soaring harmonies and stories you can fall in to, the four piece have released their self titled debut E.P “The Stained Daisies”. This six track release epitomises what the Stained Daisies are all about.

“We really wanted to stay true to ourselves in how the E.P was produced and sounded and I think we achieved that” said Vocalist and Guitarist Dan Tuite.

With a sound that harks back to the rock and roll days of old, and a live performance that lingers long in the memory, The Stained Daisies’ catchy hooks will leave you humming long after the dust has settled.

“While we are influenced quite a bit by various genres including blues, Brit alt. and straight up rock and roll, our sound developed organically and where we have ended up is a coming together of all our influences” says Dan. “Music, our friends, family and yeah, the smoke, stickiness and attitudes of our local watering holes have all played their part. We think we managed to capture that on the E.P which we are all very pleased about”.

With their eyes to the sky but their feet firmly planted on the ground, The Stained Daisies are heading your way. Best strap yourself in.
