Weighing in at a combined 11' 8" and 300 pounds out of the Florida swamps, the unstoppable duo -- The Dewars -- strike back, with their new action-packed EP called "Adult Sing-A-Longs."
Says David Black, a Canadian music critic, "The only way to describe The Dewars would be to imagine The Proclaimers and David Bowie getting together to write music for the circus."
Starting out as childhood visual artists and entrepreneurs, the twins retired their dreams of future baseball stardom and resorted to the humble career of film, when they enrolled in their high school TV production at 13. It was at the academy that the brothers dabbled in animation and film-making and began writing and recording original music for background scores.
But perhaps the uniqueness of their arsenal rests in their comic personalities, which often got them in trouble and eventually expelled from the school. It was then the boys moved to the Australian Outback to pursue creative endeavors as independent artists.
Back in the States the Dewars travel like nomads, tossing between relatives and concubines across the country, picking up odd jobs cutting trees and landscaping and playing to elder crowds in an oldies band to fund their art projects.
Their newest release adult singalong was forged in a run-down storage room of a boat repair lot they rented from Craigslist, and with it a debut music video for Switzerland for the world to have a crack at.
