PRESENTED BY JAMES MAAD

The Crab Apples is an indie pop-rock band based in Barcelona and the project of Carla Gimeno (vocals, guitar), Laia Alsina (electric guitar), Laia Martí (bass) and Mauro Cavallaro (drums).
What started as a project between four friends from the same town who merely wanted to play music, quickly grew and took shape, becoming the group we know now.

After their debut album Right Here (2014), touring their EP Hello Stranger (2016) around Catalonia and the rest of Spain and opening for The Beach Boys, Nada Surf and L.A.

The Crab Apples launches its second feature, A Drastic Mistake (Hidden Track, 2018), an album marked by its evident creative and stage evolution. In February they’ll release More Mistakes, an EP that will lead them to play on stages all over Spain.
