PRESENTED BY MATHILDE LARSEN
The first release from Danish/American producer and musician Noah Rosanes solo project, The Ball and The Wall is created in a strong collaboration with singer Allan Mattsson (Diefenbach, Raise Dead), it kicks off with the melodic and melancholic electro-pop single, "Dragonfly".
The versatile producer has during the last few years demonstrated his skills on Danish underground bands - Nelson Can, Boho Dancer, Echo Me and The Freudian Slip is now ready to launch a project which puts the music industry, album format and his eternal need to play ball musically with other artists, in focus.
The Ball and The Wall (TBATW) is born into the world in which the album, as a means of expression is a dying breed, and where collaboration across artists and art forms, is essential.
TBATW is an open playground in which many different artists are invited to play - and where anything can and will happen when Noah throws the ball against other artist´s wall.
Only one single will be made with each individual artist TBATW collaborates with. This creates a fresh and powerful setting, in which Noah Rosanes's producer visions provides an opportunity to steer artists and himself in new directions ...
Video Concept: 20 artists with 10 seconds each.
The mantra collaboration, diversity and respect for different art forms, is also reflected in the visual expression.
Noah Rosanes has devised a new concept for the "Dragonfly" video. The song has been split up into 20 sections of exactly 10 seconds each.
Then 20 different visual artists and creative souls were chosen to interpret their assigned clips with their own personal style.
In addition to the collaboration with Raise Dead (Allan Mattsson) who soon will finish his own album, TBATW is currently working on forthcoming productions:
A duet consisting of Danish Penny Police and Echo Me , and Boho Dancer are also ready to see what can happen between The Ball and The Wall.
