Stand-Up Jazz, Philosophical Pop, you may try to but might find yourself having a hard time finding an existing or coming up with a new genre for Mōrk's music, so better leave it where it is - which is definitely not any kind of box. Rather just "Buckle your seatbelt Dorothy, because Kansas is going bye-bye..."!

In a raging hurricane of sounds and feelings the four musicians of Mōrk often create music on the spot, live and in the studio without paying attention to imaginary boundaries between genres like Funk, Soul, Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Noise, Electronica, Jazz and Folk, while never taking themselves too seriously.

After having achieved successes individually and as part of other bands in various areas of Hungary's music scene, the four friends of Mōrk, namely:

Mark Zentai (vocals),

Gabor Novai (keys),

Jason Balint (bass), and

Daniel Ferenc Szabo (drums)

decided to return to their creative roots and create music together that would come truly from their hearts without any compromises and so began a phase of honest experimentation and new discoveries.

Now they are ready to show audiences in Hungary and across Europe what they have found, so have a look at Mōrk's Facebook page www.facebook.com/worksofmork to find out more about the band, their music and upcoming gigs.
