PRESENTED BY ALEYCE SIMMONDS

When I first started playing guitar I was all about 60's acoustic music, when I got to highschool I fell in love with punk rock, when I graduated I moved on to the brilliant alt-rock of the 90's and I spent my uni days absorbing as many different kinds of music as I possibly could. Needless to say I have played in a lot of different groups to get these diverse experiences! But whether I was delicately strumming in a "big band" jazz group, thrashing away at power chords in a punk band, plucking the sparsest of funk grooves or shredding solos in rock bands, one constant remained: the thrill of playing live. To me, the style or genre of the music isn't important. It's all about the amazing feeling of playing music for an audience and creating an atmosphere. So when I moved back to Tamworth and decided to put a band of my own together I made the live element my priority.

I'm extremely lucky in the company I keep on stage. Steve is one of the most versatile and powerful drummers I've ever played with and Andrew has that magic combination tact and creativity that makes for great bassists in all styles. Much like myself, both dudes have played in a lot of different bands and have played a lot of different styles so having the two of them in the band makes my job as frontman VERY easy.

I really love being a musician and even though we play pretty much every weekend I still can't wait for the next gig. From teen girls singing along with Rihanna to tradies in high-vis gear screaming along with AC/DC it's never a boring night. Hopefully we'll see you there!
