PRESENTED BY JOAQUINA MALDONADO

The first time Francois touched an instrument, he was 15 years old. At 18, he had his first band. Some years later formed, with his friends, 'El Ghetto' and then 'Los Fuckin Sombreros', bands that would become emblems of the independent scene in Peru. In 2007 he decided to move to England, where his new immigrant status motivated him to write and record, in a small room, his first solo album titled "The Imminent Failure of Francois Peglau".

His second production, "La Crisis del Segundo Disco" is an addictive combination of catchy pop-folk tunes became one of the best albums of 2013 for major international media such as MTV Iggy (USA), Sound & Colours (UK) Redbull Panamerika (Mexico) or El Comercio (Peru).

Francois produces each of their albums, video and events, from crafts, do it yourself, substance rather than form. Currently, along with "The Fracaso Band", it has consolidated its proposal both locally and internationally, to be part of festivals like Marvin (México), Vive Latino (México), or open shows for artists such as Blur, Jack Johnson, Carla Morrison, among others.
