" A folk-influenced singer-songwriter with a damn fine ear for melody and a vocal influence not too far flung from the Gallagher brothers." (Pearshaped Music Magazine)
"An Incredible Record" (James Santer/BBC Introducing In Devon)
Meet Daniel Schamroth, the Devon born songsmith who deals in heart felt indie, folk and Sixties influenced music...
Daniel's music sits somewhere within the worlds of Noel Gallagher, Ryan Adam's and Neil Young, and he wears these influences proudly on his sleeve.
Alongside his more intimate solo acoustic gigs, Daniel also goes out with his full band 'Daniel Schamroth &The British Wildflowers' which consists of drummer Kieran Chalmers, bassist Jamie Whyte and backing vocalist Amy O'Loughlin. The band have been busy wowing crowds with their blend of catchy, sixties infused sounds and are set for some more touring and festival slots this year. The British Wildflowers have just recorded their debut EP which is set for physical and digital release this summer.
In his previous musical incarnation Daniel spent a few years touring the world in a Beatles tribute act and has performed at all manor of venues, from theatres across Europe and The Middle East to Wembley Stadium and even the spiritual home of The Beatles - Abbey Road's Studio 2.
Daniel's solo material first came to national attention when his song 'Cold Wind Blowing' was voted as a finalist in The UK Songwriting Competition and semi-finalist in The International Songwriting Competition.
