PRESENTED BY JOANNA BOLOÑA

Alejandro & Maria Laura might seem like an odd couple (they are a couple indeed), but music is what flows through them.

They started playing in bars in the US while he was working as a trucker and she was "folding t-shirts". In 3 months abroad, they become known in Idaho and played in the Sun Valley Music Festival.

Back in Perú, they were contacted by Mabela Martinez who introduced them to Matías Cella (producer for Kevin Johansen and Jorge Drexler) and went to record their first album "Paracaídas", which was very successful due to their two singles "Estos Días" and "Puedo Estar Sin Ti" (which got heavy radioplay here in Lima).

They toured and played in Argentina and Uruguay to come back to Perú and win Claro Festival for their song "Jaula" which now features the voice of Susana Baca.

By the end of 2013 they released their sophomore album "Fiesta Para Los Muertos" which explores a little more of folk and other genres. And this 2014 they plan to tour through Latin America and the US to get everyone to listen to their music and get them in love.
