Formed in late July of 2011 as friends and bandmates Jeff Meszaros (vocals, piano, trumpet, accordion) and Dan Bourbonnais (vocals, guitar, banjo, steel guitar, ukulele) joined forces with Shane Ducharme (vocals, bass guitar) and Nate Hodder (percussion). Jeff met Shane and Nate at a California music festival in April of 2010 where they discovered their mutual love for music and the idea of creating a band was all too natural. With the addition of multi-instrumentalist Amy Eschak (vocals, violin, mandolin, guitar), the band was complete. Many describe the band's unique style as an alternative folk blues fusion with creative vocal harmonies and catchy riffs. These are "The Whytes".
