The Common Tongues are a Brighton based 5 piece that combine sounds of the deep South with British Folk Revival to compelling stories of their lives and loves. They can be seen footstomping around Brighton's smaller venues stripped down to 2 guitars, a violin and beautiful 3 way harmonies. However the true essence of this band comes from the energy and vitality they radiate as a full line up, so don't miss it. 2010 has already seen the Common Tongues record a new demo and play bigger shows, Communion, Club NME, The Great Escape Festival, and its only gonna get better.
