The music might be described as a rootsy amalgam of folk and country. The sound is simple, understated, and comfortably dusty. Accompanied by a modest but distinct acoustic soundscape I play songs where both cowboy boots and Converse shoes tap in unison. I am inspired by the folk/country tradition and my songs centers on melodies and stories with simple and straightforward images. It is folk music with a Scandinavian feel to it.
I'm from a small town in the northern part of Denmark. I am a simple kind of guy with a certain kind of dark pallor to my songwriting. My language is close to home and sheds lights on the shady groves of a life. I try to go about it with an open-hearted personal sentiment and I see songwriting as a way to create an honest connection with myself and others. Music for me comes down to honouring inspiration with a lot of hard work.
