Winner of the 2011 Gibson Acoustic Competition, the 2011 Marshall Music "Home of the Acoustic Guitar" Competition and placing second in the 2011 Paco Rabanne Black XS Varsity Talent Competition, Josh Roxton is a self-taught solo acoustic artist that will make even the most skeptical of critics sit up and take notice. Josh's musical exploration began around about the same time as he did but it wasn't until 2006, after a stint busking in London, that Josh found himself working with a talented, energetic and ambitious group of performers -- WeTheSage. Josh's involvement in the electro-numetal act was initially supposed to be a temporary one -- he was to be their singer while the band searched for a new one. The search for a new singer was never, however, really taken very seriously as WeTheSage quickly gained popularity. Playing on main stage at Season's Wither, Lucky Fish, Bell's Sundowner with Underoath and Woodstock 9, the stratospheric popularity of the band, accompanied by the speed in which they attained success would ultimately force an early end to the project.
