Once Florida's best-kept secret, the Jacob Jeffries Band is bursting onto the scene with widespread accolades about their piano-driven pop rock. Formed in 2006, the band consists of Jacob Jeffries (vocals, piano), Jimmy Powers (electric guitar, backing vocals) and Eric Jackowitz (drums, backing vocals). With Jeffries' hook-filled, danceable melodies and Jimmy Powers' soaring guitar riffs, the band's unique sound has landed them on stage with a range of established artists including Dashboard Confessional, Tim Reynolds, Eric Hutchinson, Sister Hazel and Sugar Ray. Jeffries also won the coveted Nationals Singer Songwriter 34th Annual Shoot-Out at the renowned Eddie's Attic in Atlanta (previous winners include John Mayer and The Indigo Girls).
The Jacob Jeffries Band's fourth studio album, Tell Me Secrets, was released in May 2012. Be sure to catch the band perform at the upcoming CMJ Music Marathon.
