Barry Tierney is a singer/songwriter of world wide respect.He has won countless songwriting awards and has been described as a genius by such songwriters as Robin Gibbs of the Bee Gees.Altough no formal education, Barry has written with some of the worlds best songwriters including Alan Glass, himself a two time Grammy award winner.Altough only 21, Barry has toured the world including the U.S.A and Europe sharing stages with Mick Flannary, John Spillane and other great artists.
Barry is currently playing and recording with a fantastic group of musicians known as the Barry Tierney Showband, featuring world class drummer Tiz Mc Namara {of the anybodies} and Eden Ray on Bass guitar who also is an expert on sound which comes in handy at reheasals.The lead guitar player is none other than Sam Clauge,described as a musical genius and son of Lez Clague.Barry will be releasing a single in July 2010,Called 'Susan' which is already causing quite a stir in the music industry which features Freddie White the blues legend and Pat Crowley as well as the band.
