Bad Alpha create folk-funk - soulful songs with close-knit harmony and funky beats.

Benedict Mitchell bought his first guitar in 2004 and had 29 songs as Bad Alpha by the time he was joined by Polly Trenow in the summer of 2010. Polly now sings harmony plays percussion and co-writes Bad Alpha songs.

During a five month residency in Austin they joined forces with Austin based bass player Stephen Motz and drummer Gabriel Martinez.
