Uniquely talented musicians, five close friends, and a book too often judged by its cover, Austin Heat is very much the sum of all its parts - creating their twisted funk, rock & soul from scratch. The Austin Heat experience is legendary, those who have seen the band play at Betsy's Bar or TC's can tell the tale if they're still equipped with working lips.

Having trekked through the sometimes treacherous Austin bar scene, the band is as strong as it's ever been. Just weeks from the release of their debut album, the band is preparing for their biggest show to date - the album release party happening at Betsy's Bar on Friday, September 21st. The Album itself is a triumph for the fellas, who began writing for it in December of 2010. The songs were recorded live a year later and are ready at last to be played to the masses. The night of the 21st is shaping up to be a celebration the likes of which Betsy's, and fans of the Heat, have never seen before.
