Artful Renegade are a four-piece rock band from Cork City who entered the studio in 2009 armed with producer, Ross O'Donovan, hoping to capture the ideas being worked upon by the band. Following a hugely positive visit to the studio, further writing and buoyed by the realisation that they might not be completely wasting their time, Artful Renegade tested the waters following an invitation to play at Ballymaloe House in December the same year. Following the warm reception that the new material received at the Ballymaloe showcase, the band decided the time was right to bring these ideas into the public domain. The year 2010 has so far proved to be an interesting one on the live circuit including headlining the EQ Cork Showcase in the Crane Lane Theatre as well as a rousing visit to the legendary DeBarras of Clonakilty.
