A Silent Film might just be the next great band to come out of Oxford. With the release of their debut album 'The City That Sleeps' they have toured the UK with the likes of Mystery Jets, Glasvegas, Metronomy and most recently One Republic. Throughout September their track 'You Will Leave a Mark' was the soundtrack of UKTV Watch's advertising launch and also appeared in the Times's 'Hottest Download' section. They have been praised by Steve Lamaq and look set for a hugely successful year in 2009.
