Oasis and early Beatles pop can be heard as heavy influenceson The Brothers Movement’s self titled album. It has a pop polish and the beats are fun loving. Sometimesthey even throw a bit of that trendy synth stuff in.
The Brothers Movement have added themselves to a longestablished genre but have yet to make their own stamp on it.
Each track displays modern production techniques creatingfull, polished, layered sounds but nothing new creatively is brought to thetable. Paxton and Danda’s layeringharmonies hark back to their Brit pop predecessors….but everything else ispretty conventional, 4/4 drum beats and the standard guitar rifts and chords.
The Brothers Movement created great easy listening, smoothflowing rock but it’s nothing to get excited about.
