YARDANGS
Anos a sedimentar o gosto pela música. Alguns deles, ligados à corrente, por entre cabos e baquetas partidas, com ideias e vontade de as fazer ouvir... alto.

Caminhos percorridos... a ultima chegada é agora o ponto de partida para nova viagem. Uma viagem que nos leva para algum lado, talvez não mais longe do que nós próprios. Talvez não mais do que aos instintos mais puros e básicos, aqueles que sustentam tudo o resto.

Sem preocupações de criar algo que se encaixe num determinado estilo, sacode-se o pó da guitarra, destapa-se a bateria. Tal como a poeira, que com a ajuda do vento insiste em desenhar a mais dura rocha, os Yardangs insistem no rock.

Ligam-se os motores. A partida é agora. A banda sonora está escolhida. Algo que soe bem com o vento que entra pela janela. Que convide a espreitar o que vem depois daquilo que se vê ao longe. O limite está sempre à distância do horizonte. Nós conduzimos para lá chegar, e é o que faz a paisagem que interessa. O que fica depois do tempo passar.

2010.

Years at cementing a love for music. Some of them, connected to electricity, between cables and broken drumsticks, with ideas and the willingness for them to be listened... loud.

Paths taken ... the latest arrival is now the starting point for a new journey. A journey that takes us somewhere, perhaps no farther than ourselves. Perhaps no more than to the purest and most basic instincts, those who hold all the rest.

Not worrying in creating something that fits a particular genre, gently shake the dust of the guitar, uncover the drum kit. Like the dust, that with the help of the wind insists in drawing the hardest rock through persistence, the Yardangs insists in rock music.

Starting engines. The go is now. The soundtrack it is chosen. Something that sounds good with the wind that comes through the window. That invites us to sneak peek at what comes after what is seen in the distance. The limit is always at the horizon distance. We drive to get there, and what matters is what makes the landscape. What remains after time pass.

BOOSTER
CONCEITO é o primeiro álbum dos Booster, trabalho gravado durante o verão de 2011, nos estúdios Pentagon, com produção de Fernando Matias(Linda Martini,Moonspell...).

São 12 temas Rock em portugês com refrões directos, que apelam à festa e à participação do público nos concertos. CONCEITO é o culminar de um ciclo iniciado em 2008 e que levou a banda a passar por palcos tão diversos como a Festa do Avante, Festivais, Fnacs, bares e discotecas.

No se registo Unplugged, realizou alguns showcases em diversas livrarias.
Os Booster divulgaram os seus anteriores trabalhos em diversas rádios e programas de televisão.

CONCEITO é ainda uma homenagem da banda aos músicos portugueses que os influenciaram ao longo dos anos e lhes incutiram a vontade de lutar e não desistir deste difícil caminho, que é fazer música em Portugal 2012.

THE QUEST
Everyone is in a quest for something to complete and fullfill life... regardless of what it is, we're all looking for something... Our quest began in 2006 at Lagos, Algarve, Portugal.
Starting out by getting together only as a group of friends sharing ideas and playing some random tunes, in 2007, we took a shot at getting a room at L.A.C., place that became the home base for the definition of the band's sound, bringing along the decision to record some songs in a studio.
One year went by and the band had its first show, with a laptop computer playing out the beats and samples. Just a few days later, the band was complete when drummer Sílvio Gobet joined.
October, 2008, the 13 songs composed were taken to Miguel Marques for production and recording at Generator Music studio.
After one year of shows, rehearsals and the coming of Nuno Reis to replace Silvio in the drums, the new decade brings the release of the band's first record!
With songs that mix up different genres with rock being the main influence, "Decision & Consequence" puts out a positive energy with its sound while the lyrics show a more intimate side of the band's ideals, life experiences and hopes...

Parece que toda a gente vive em busca de algo... seja o que for, todos procuramos alguma coisa... A nossa busca começou em 2006 na cidade de Lagos, Algarve, Portugal.
Começando por se juntar apenas como um grupo de amigos para trocar ideias e experimentar sonoridades, até que em 2007, a banda conseguiu a cedência de um espaço no L.A.C.(Laboratório de Actividades Criativas), sítio que passou a ser a base para definição do som da banda, trazendo com isso a decisão de uma futura gravação em estúdio.
Passado um ano, a banda fez a sua primeira apresentação com um computador portátil a passar as batidas e samples. Uns dias depois, o alinhamento da banda ficou completo com a entrada do baterista Sílvio Gobet.
Outubro de 2008, os 13 temas compostos pela banda foram levados a Miguel Marques para produção e gravação no Generator Music studio.
Depois de um ano em ensaios, concertos e com a entrada de Nuno Reis para substituir o baterista silvio, a nova década traz o lançamento do 1º álbum da banda!
Com sonoridades que passam por diversos géneros tendo o rock como base, o álbum "Decision & Consequence" liberta uma energia positiva pelo som e nas letras mostra um lado mais íntimo dos ideais, experiências de vida e esperanças da banda...
