You know what would be the best? some sort of UV filter that
encompasses the entire earth, so that wherever i go, i could be outside
for more than 20 minutes without catching skin cancer. i assumed that
by coming to Ireland, where it is predominantly clouds and rain, i
could get by without bringing sunblock. WRONG. i get a new sunburn
DAILY. my poor skin is so pissed off at me. But, if we all chip in, i
believe we could raise enough money to install a giant shield that
would prevent me from freckling like the Ginger i truly am... It would
be like sunglasses for the earth! and it would be beautiful.
In other news: i have figured out why so many people in Ireland wear
the ungodly bright neon clothes! you all know what i'm talking about,
right? how could you not. The unnatural shades of yellow, orange, and
pink that look like a walking blacklight poster? It's not because
everyone here is just heavy into acid (as i had previously suspected),
no. it's that the day-glo orange and pink makes the pale skin look
somewhat tan! BRILLIANT! In a country where everyone is ghostly pale,
let's create a fashion trend that will make us look less see-through.
excellent work, everyone. and they say all the Irish are good for is
drinking and spouse abuse....
